Below & Above: Truffles & Wine
AN EVENING OF WINE AND TRUFFLE APPRECIATION AND DEGUSTATION, CHAPERONED BY A DUO OF LOCAL WEST AUSTRALIAN PRODUCERS.

Join us, for an indulgent dining experience centered around the decadent truffle. Accompanied by their fungi counterparts, the humble mushroom, this earthy umami banquet is not one to miss.

Combining their love of winemaking and truffle farming, John & Kia Klepec are the dynamic duo behind Below & Above, based in Pemberton. This Southern Forest region of W.A. exclusively produces the world class, rich black winter Perigord truffle, and since 2003 this is where you’ll find the Below & Above Truffiere.

Below the ground they grow prestigious, aroma fueled truffles. Above the ground they produce award winning small batch wines. At this dinner, you will have the opportunity to sample both!

This earthy feast wouldn’t be complete without appearances from new kids on the block: The Mushroom Guys. Located in the heart of Metropolitan Perth, The Mushroom Guys have one primary focus - to sustainably produce & farm the best ‘shrooms in WA. TMG will be supplying the evening with their plump and earthy king & phoenix oyster shroomies, favourites among Perth chefs, as well as exotic sword belt and coral tooth mushrooms.

So, tantalise your tastebuds with the perfect night for food & wine lovers, or for those who want to experience some of world’s most unique ingredients, sourced from right here in Western Australia!
